For most universities, keeping faculty activity and profiles up to date is a time-consuming data entry exercise. Reducing data entry for faculty is a strategic priority for Digital Measures, so we’re pleased to announce a new partnership with Clarivate Analytics to integrate Web of Science data into Activity Insight.
Our partnership with Web of Science marks our third data integration partnership of 2017, following Crossref and Scopus, providing our clients with access to more than 1.1 billion citations.
“We’ve made it a top priority to make data entry easier for our Activity Insight clients,” said Matt Bartel, Digital Measures CEO and founder. “Enabling faculty to integrate automatically with Web of Science, one of the largest and most respected citation databases, is evidence of our commitment to drive efficiency and save our clients considerable time. Faculty members are doing remarkable work, and this is a critical step in helping them share the stories of their accomplishments.”
Web of Science contains more than a billion cited references and counting, including books, journal articles, patents, websites, conference proceedings and Open Access materials dating back to 1900.
More information on the Web of Science integration for Activity Insight will be available soon in the Resource Center, our online client community. Questions? Contact us here.
