DMers Volunteer: Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s Immersion Day

On a recent Immersion Day at Milwaukee Repertory Theater more than 700 middle school and high school students came together to learn about theater through demonstrations and discussions, followed by a matinee performance of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town in the Quadracci Powerhouse Theater. Digital Measures volunteers were there to lend a hand. The Rep hosts more than 20,000 students per year, partnering with more than 250 schools for its Reading Residency program. The Rep hosts numerous Immersion Days throughout the year, which serve the culmination of the Reading Residency for students. Here’s a look at our day—thanks for the opportunity for DMers to share the love of theater with Milwaukee-area students!
