A new mug is joining our mug wall! We are pleased to announce that the University of Maryland (UMD) has joined the rapidly growing list of 150+ university-wide clients that leverage Activity Insight to capture and report on faculty activities and accomplishments. UMD will also implement our completely rethought Workflow Module for Activity Insight to digitize campus processes such as annual faculty evaluations and promotion and tenure.
About the University of Maryland
UMD is the flagship campus of Maryland’s higher education system and a top-ranked public research institution with 39,000 students, 10,000 faculty and staff, and 361,000 living alumni. Located just outside Washington, D.C., UMD was founded in 1856 as the Maryland Agricultural College. UMD is the nation’s first “Do Good” campus, transforming idealism into impact. Do Good is built on the tenet that learning is not a passive activity, but instead requires active participation and deep, practical application. The initiative establishes UMD as a global leader in advancing social change, philanthropy and nonprofit leadership.
Welcome Aboard, UMD!
“It’s a privilege to collaborate with the University of Maryland,” said Digital Measures CEO and founder Matt Bartel. “We’re excited to help UMD share stories about their faculty’s great work while streamlining the collection of faculty accomplishments, informing strategic decisions and transforming campus processes. This will help UMD in pursuit of its ‘Fearless Ideas’ campaign to promote knowledge discovery, turn imagination into innovation, transform the student experience and inspire Maryland pride.”
